    Hi Max, 

    The Automatic CCA adapter has a built-in LTE-M  modem that only connects via AT&T network. Here are some reasons why your adapter may lose connection:

    We use AT&T only and the AT&T signal may not be strong in some areas.
    The antenna in the adapter isn't as sensitive as the one in your phone
    The placement of the adapter in your car provides more shielding so a weak signal may not get through
    Just like your phone, the adapter can sometimes temporarily lose signal

    If you park in an underground garage or an area that does not have good cell connection your trip will not finish uploading until a stronger connection is established.    If you continue to have problems, please reach out to our Support team.      support@automatic.com
