I assume since the Automatic dongle can read diagnostic codes that it's as capable as any other bluetooth OBDII reader. In my Prius I can use the Torque Android app and a dongle like this one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011NSX27A) to read not just error codes but highly detailed information about my car including the voltage of each individual battery cell. There are community-created profiles to show data from all sensors each car exposes. It's incredibly valuable.
Right now I need two dongles to do this. I have to remove the Automatic device and plug in another one to get this data. It would be incredibly useful if the Automatic dongle could expose an interface to allow other apps like Torque to read sensor data from the car for more detailed information outside of the scope of the Automatic app.
